On October 3 and 4, the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort was filled with food, wine and a lot of sated people — which can only mean one thing; the Tucson Culinary Festival was back for 2009. With more than a dozen different styles of culinary delights — originating from around the globe — and more than enough wine, the atmosphere was friendly and joyous. Could the recipe for peace be that simple; good food, good wine and a place where everyone can experience it together? It was that weekend.
